Collection of ceramics of Italian manufacture from the 14th to the 19th centuries

The ceramics collection consists of several rare works of Italian production dating from the 14th to the 19th centuries. These include an exquisite tankard of Florentine workmanship dating back to the 14th century and four plates with mythological subjects made in Urbino in the 16th century. The majolica plate depicting Apollo and Daphne, dating from the mid-16th century and attributed to the so-called Master of Zenobia from a work conserved at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, is of the utmost value.
