From collector to artist: Museo Horne and Casa Vasari

Guided tour of the Horne Museum and Casa Vasari, two places to discover or rediscover, two treasure troves of art and culture.

The Horne Museum, inside Palazzo Corsi, houses the extraordinary collection of the English collector Herbert Percy Horne: an incredible variety of works and objects that coexist in absolute coherence and harmony with a Renaissance house.

Casa Vasari, the house inhabited and frescoed by Giorgio Vasari, is a monument to the Arts: the artist personally took care of the fresco decoration of the ‘Sala Grande’ in which he describes art and artists at the court of Cosimo I de’ Medici.

The Horne Foundation offers the guided tour to all citizens, tourists and art lovers!

The appointment is at the Horne Museum, Via de’ Benci 6.
Cost: €10.00, guided tour included
