Casa Vasari a Firenze

Events

English guided tour of Casa Vasari

Thursday, August 8 at 9 p.m

Special evening opening of Casa Vasari in Florence. A unique opportunity to learn about Giorgio Vasari and his life.

In Borgo Santa Croce, close to the Horne Museum and halfway between the basilica of Santa Croce and Palazzo Vecchio, is the house where Giorgio Vasari, painter, architect and historiographer lived in the last years of his life.

It is a house that preserves an extraordinary room, frescoed by the master and his students around 1572, with stories telling of the arts and artists at the court of Cosimo I de’ Medici.

A jewel in the heart of Florence to get in touch with a great artist who profoundly marked the city with his art.

Fee 10 euros per person

The appointment is in Borgo Santa Croce, 8.
